Redwood City Coffee Shops

I have no idea why, but Redwood City has an absurd number of coffee shops in a tiny little town. Here's a rundown of your options.

Eating

Coffeebar

They recently opened their Redwood City location and it joins the Broadway strip of bars and restaurants. The coffee and tea is solid, and food is great. They also have beer and wine on tap with a nice area outside to sit. Good addition to the hood.

Eating

Mademoiselle Colette

I'm not sure when this is opening, but their pastries are unreal. And if you're a blue bottle fan, they have their own version of the New Orleans Iced.

Eating

Peet's Coffee

It's a Peet's, in Redwood City, so it's on this list. Plenty of more unique places to go though.

Eating

Philz Coffee

The best place to get coffee in RWC if you're a Philz fan. Prepare to be overwhelmed with the choices of beans. If you're in the mood for sweet and cold, the Mint Mojito and Ecstatic Iced are great sugar bombs on a hot day.

Red Giant Coffee

Great coffee and an even better outdoor space to enjoy on a nice day (and most days are nice in RWC). One of their more unique items is their Mint Iced Coffee but it's all good. We go here all the time.

Eating

Revere Coffee & Tea

Revere is local, which makes it special. It's a small, modern space hidden on Broadway St but a good place to grab a cup of coffee and get some work done.

Eating

Starbucks Reserve

There are only a few dozen of these in the US, but Starbucks Reserve is a higher end experience to the normal Starbucks, where you can get higher quality, single origin coffee. This place is packed usually and a good place to work.
